Was introduced to a new place to hike. Started out overcast but ended in brilliant sun. Lovely oaks, wide meadows, panoramic views. A very good day!

Spider?

Off the grid for a week and late to the game but I thought I’d play anyway.  This ‘guy’ kind of looks like a creepy crawly but is quite benign. Just sticks and stones and a little iPad magic.

Gave a try at getting a Milky Way image. (Tim, the forecast clouds held off 🙂 ) There may be a few Perseid meteors in the Milky Way region (short, faint streaks).
