Funny you should ask. I’m just finishing a wonderful visit down under. The scene in the photo above appeared one morning while we were here. An amazing reward for a bit of wanderlust!

A tussock moth caterpillar (Lymantriidae) crawls along the twig of a bush. The surprise is the hairs on this fuzzy caterpillar are irritating to some people causing burnings rashes.
L is for light (backlighting, to be specific) and K is for kaktus (er, in German, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, … you get the idea 😉 ).
