Do you know what is sto in my language, Slovenian, and I believe in several other Slavic languages? One hundred. ๐ That’s why Friedrich Stowasser took the name Hundertwasser. ๐
Thanks! I did not that! Now, with the road receeding off into the distance, the photo has a new, even more fun meaning: perhaps the start of a long journey. 100 km? 100 mi? 100 leagues? 100…? ๐
OK. I’ll bite: “Put me on a highway, And show me a sign, And take it to the limit one more time”? Or maybe, “They couldn’t read [see] the stop sign, Took a turn for the worse”? (Although I doubt anyone would think this spot is a fast lane ๐ )
so much to take in with this photo – the worn stop words – and then the wires, depth, mountains, sky… roads.. etc
and loved the song lyrics in the comment

Oh, yes. I also looked up Mr. Hundertwasser. Very interesting, too, although he might not have liked my straight road ๐ .

I love the sweeping sky and the offset perspective in this photo.

Thank you, Allan. Truth be told I was originally attracted to the clouds themselves. Then the road presented itself so… ๐!

The point where the road and the sky collideโjust like the old Eagle’s tune.

Thanks, Yvette. This one has turned out much more fun than I ever anticipated. Lesson here: see something, don’t think, just click! ๐
