The rain and clouds cleared for a bit letting me catch the total eclipse of the moon last night (Jan 20, 2019). (Although not before I got rained on! 😦 . But lucky me, the clouds only came back just after the eclipse finished. )
Two images taken January 30, 2018 of an essentially full moon: the super blue moon (super = when a full moon is at a closest approach to Earth; blue = second full moon in the same month).
The last image: a super blue blood moon 🙂
I reckon this is a tad older than 50 years 😉 .
Full moon rising over the town clock tower. (The time shown is *not* correct 🙂 )
