I love the movement of clouds. It’s one of the things that I missed when we headed west out of Florida in the ’70s. It’s right up there with the lack of thunder and lightning in CA.

Well, I’m OK with fewer lightning storms in the immediate area. They create enough ‘drama’ in the western mountains as it is. No love of the hot, sticky summers, either.

It was. Both the time of year and of day. Very fortunate to have stormy conditions with such dramatic clouds. But even without those, it is a magnificent landscape. Been there? If not, perhaps one day. You would enjoy it very much.
