Years ago I did a project: one subject (flag pole), one focal length (28 mm), one *roll* of film (36 exposures), a different image for each exposure. Obviously a variation on a theme.

this sure is variation…. and extra cool because rarely do many of us get up close to a flag pole – we see them in the distance and so this was nice – som eof my favs were the rust spots up close – and then through the trees

Thank you, Ms. Prior. Yea, I really got to *know* my subject and different ways to look at it. Good project to get out of the ole box 🙂 .

and reading about “film” shows how long you have been in the photography world…

Wonderful photos for the challenge, RX. Do you remember how long it took to get those 36 images? The reason I ask is that I can see a progression in your thoughts and framing.
You’re like a postage stamp— you stuck to one thing until you got where you were going. Good job!

Thanks, Allan. I took these over about 1 hour in the afternoon. Like the postage stamp analogy – fits with what I was trying to do.
